The presale phase of Oh Whale serves two crucial purposes:
### **Community Building**
We aim to attract not only investors but passionate individuals who share our commitment to ocean conservation. Significant buy-in investors will be rewarded with unique NFTs, granting them access to our collective decision-making process and the ability to shape the future of Oh Whale.
### **Immediate Impact**
A substantial portion of the funds raised during the presale will be directly allocated to reputable organizations already engaged in vital work to preserve our oceans. This demonstrates our commitment to making an immediate difference, even before the token launch.
## **Our Presale Strategy**
### Token Information
Our total token supply is 1 billion tokens (1,000,000,000). For the presale, we have allocated 40% of the total supply, equivalent to 400 million tokens, with the goal of raising a soft cap of $1 million USD.
**Soft Cap:** $1 million USD \
**Hard Cap** : subject to community vote once soft cap filled (see below) \

### **Unsold Token Handling**
We prioritize transparency and community involvement. Any unsold tokens from the presale will be handled as follows:

Holders of the Oh Whale Token will have the opportunity to vote on the allocation of unsold tokens.
**Options**\
Vote to determine the percentage to be directly contributed to the Ocean Conservation Pool\* (OCP) and the percentage to be burned.
\*Market-Sensitive Contributions: Contributions to the OCP will be strategically paced to ensure sustainability and minimize potential impact on the token price. This may involve gradual releases over time.
## **Presale Conditions**
### **Soft Cap and Hard Cap Policies**
**Soft Cap:** Our revised soft cap is set at $1 million USD. Reaching this amount will secure a successful token launch and ensure that core objectives, such as exchange listings, marketing, and ocean conservation contributions can be fulfilled.
**Flexible Hard Cap:** After the soft cap is reached, the continuation of the presale will be subject to a community vote. The Oh Whale team will present multiple options for raising additional capital, including support for further ocean conservation, token buybacks, and platform development. Importantly, one of these options will **always include an immediate end of presale**, ensuring that the **community retains full control** over the next steps.
**And also:**
* Due to the inherent nature of blockchain transactions, presale contributions **cannot be refunded** in their original currency form.
* All investors will receive an amount of OHW tokens for their pre-sale contribution. The number of tokens received will be determined by the price at the presale stage during which the contribution was made. These tokens will be claimable upon Token Generation Event (TGE).
*Token Launch Timing: Reaching the pre-sale targets does **not guarantee an immediate token** launch on a public exchange. The launch will be strategically planned to ensure optimal market conditions and project readiness. We will keep the community informed throughout the process.*
